National Leader of Education (NLE) - Lisa Wigglesworth

Specialist Leader of Education (SLE) - Hannah Fairhurst

Hannah is the Deputy Headteacher and an SLE with English Specialism. She initially began teaching in secondary education - both English literature and Language at Key Stage 3 and 4 level.  She has 10 years’ experience working in primary education- predominantly in Key Stage 2.
During this time, Hannah has lead English from EYFS to Year 6, been Assistant Headteacher for Key Stage 2 as well as leading Mathematics, Behaviour and being the School Disadvantaged Champion.
Hannah has been a Key Stage 2 Writing Moderator for 5 years for Warrington Local Authority.
Hannah can offer support in the following areas:

Specialist Leader of Education (SLE) - Amy Langford

Amy is an SLE with D and T Specialism. She has experience of working in 2 schools within Warrington over the last 7 years; predominantly teaching Year 5 and Year 6. 
Amy has been a member of a cluster group for other Design Technology Subject Coordinators across Warrington for the past 2 years and has supported and shared outstanding practice with others.
Recently, Amy has undergone Health and Safety training to gain accreditation in safe practice of Design Technology. She is also currently working towards the Design and Technology Association Quality Mark.

Specialist Leader of Education (SLE) - Julie Lee

Julie is an SLE with Specialism in Art

Julie has been working as a teacher for 22 years. Her career began in Leeds, West Yorkshire where she was a Nursery/Reception teacher in a small rural school with a lead subject in Science. She then moved to Callands Primary School in Warrington, where she has predominantly worked in EYFS and KS1. Julie led Science again for a period of time, then gained an allowance point/ TLR for leading ‘Every Child Matters’ initiatives throughout the school. This included leading SRE, School Council and the healthy program. Julie is currently an UPS Y2 teacher with a lead subject in Art. She has also been a Teacher Governor at Callands Primary for many years and is a NQT trained mentor.

She can offer support in the ART in the following ways:

Clare Bootland

Clare has been a primary school teacher for ten years. She has worked at Callands Community Primary School for four years, (3 years in year 5 and currently in year 6).  Previous to this she worked in County Durham at a small school of approximately 90 children, where she worked in a mixed 3/4 class. However, her overall experience includes teaching EYFS through to Y6.

She is an experienced Literacy Co-ordinator and Key Stage One Lead.  She is currently French co-ordinator.  She has a degree in European Administration, which included living in France for a period of seven months whilst completing a work placement.

Johanna Brinkworth

After achieving a First Class Degree in Education and Early Years she went on to complete an Early Years/KS1 PGCE and qualified as a teacher in 2012. She took her first teaching position in September 2012, teaching a Reception class and has worked in Early Years education for four consecutive years. During the past four years she has developed  her skills in reflection on practice and has made successful improvements to her teaching, assessment and environment to improve standards and outcomes for all children and has been fundamental in the improvements in the EYFS at Callands.  She temprarily led the Early Years Foundation Stage most notably during the schools' most recent inspection in March 2016, when it was graded outstanding. Over the past three years she has also worked collaboratively with colleagues to develop  and lead the PSHE curriculum.

Nicola Williams

Nicola Williams has been working at Callands for 11 years and has taught across the key stages from Year 1 to Year 4. Throughout her teaching career, she has led Physical Education, English and Computing. She is passionate about her role as a middle leader as she is always looking for ways to develop staff and her subject area to ensure all children reach their true potential. Working towards her NPQML qualification currently is enabling her to develop her leadership skills further.

Nicola is a co-opted member of the governing body. By seeing the school run on a daily basis she is able to give an inside perspective of the strengths in the school and areas that need developing.

Christopher Kirk

Christopher Kirk has thirteen years experience of teaching across Key Stage Two. He has a BA(Hons) in Geography which is used to lead the subject throughout the school. As well as being an NQT Mentor as part of the Great Sankey Teaching Alliance, he has worked as a Senior Leader responsible for Raising Achievement across the school. He has also completed  the Leading From The Middle course and coached other middle leaders as part of the same programme. In September 2015, he became a qualified Level 3 Forest School Practitioner and leads Forest School sessions in KS1 and KS2.

Jacqueline O' Neill

Jacqueline O’Neill has been teaching for 21 years. She has taught in a variety of schools and is a specialist in Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1. She has had extensive training in Enquiry Based Learning and has established this as a whole school approach in her role as Science lead in the school.

Rob Soulsby

Robert Soulsby has been teaching in primary schools since qualifying in 1989 with a Bachelor in Education (Hons), specialising in Art. He has fulfilled many roles as a Middle and Senior leader, coordinating Art, Music and Maths. In 2009, Robert was part of a key government initiative to develop Maths teaching specialists in primary schools and as a result completed a PGCE qualification in Maths. Robert's teaching experience began in Chester, continuing in Halton and then in Warrington. Robert has always been keen to make education relevant to the real world and believes passionately that schools should be places where Music can flourish, so currently, he is driving improvements in Music, especially composition.
